Simple Mode is a setting or mode that can be applied to an advocate account by the organizer. It makes it easier for first-time users or less technology-savvy users to get started and become comfortable with the system by removing features like extra buttons and menus that may confuse or get in the way of interacting with contacts. It simplifies the user experience in several ways:
- It simplifies the Walk [link], Call [link], Email [link] activities and Assigned Lists by removing menus and buttons, to make it easier for new users to generate interactions with contacts.
- It invites new advocates with a different email that includes a unique link to get started, instead of requiring a login. All the advocate needs to do is click the link and they’ll be taken straight to either a walk, call, email, or assigned list activity page.
- It is limited to a single activity type; the Organizer selects either Simple Walk, Simple Call, Simple Email, or Simple Assigned List [Link].
Above is an example of a Simple Walk list. The Left-Hand navigation has been removed as well as other buttons like the prior interaction button and edit contact button.
When an advocate is initially invited, they will receive an email. While the email includes credentials, all they need to do get started is click on the provided link:

Once users click to agree to the Terms and Policy, they go straight to their "Simple mode" list of contacts:
Simple mode can be assigned to any advocate in the system by clicking the Edit Advocate (“pencil”) button and changing the View to one of the simple mode settings.
