An advocate or organizer can sign in to a device like a smartphone or desktop by navigating to https://www.causeandconnect.net and clicking on the “Sign In” link at the top of the page.
That link will take them to a login screen where they can enter their credentials (email and password), which can be found in their welcome email sent from info@causeandconnect.net. Note: If you signed up or an advocate invited you and you have yet to receive a welcome email, check your Spam, Promotions, and other email folders.
Whenever a new advocate is invited to an Organization, they receive a welcome email from info@causeandconnect.net that contains their email, password, and a link to login. Existing users that already belong to at least one organization and are invited to a new organization will not receive additional welcome emails. Instead, the advocate will need to login as normal and Switch Organizations to access the new organization they were invited to.

Cause+Connect uses a system that allows users to stay logged in for weeks at a time on a particular device. That means if a user logs in on their smartphone, the next time they visit www.causeandconnect.net, they should be logged in automatically and go straight to the homepage which features the three activity buttons for Walk [link], Call [link], and Email [link].
For advocates that were invited via “Simple Mode” [link], they need to simply click on the "Click this link to get started" link in their welcome email and they will automatically be logged in. While a username and password are also provided in their welcome email, it is unnecessary to use them if the provided link is clicked. Using “Simple Mode” is thus a way for Organizers to have new advocates skip the authentication process entirely.
