First-time users will typically only belong to a single organization. However, in time they might find themselves belonging to various organizations and sub-organizations [link]. For instance, they might belong to a non-profit that is raising money or awareness, but also to a political campaign that has several neighborhood and precinct-level sub-organizations near where they live.
In these circumstances, they may need to switch between their active organization and the organization they want to walk, make phone calls for, or send emails for on a particular day. The active organization will only display contacts for that particular organization. To view or confirm what the active organization is, a user can click on the Top-Right Navigation, which looks like a chevron button, and it will list “Active in XXXXXX”. Additionally, the logo and campaign details in the top-left corner also reflects the active organization.
To switch between organizations, click the Switch Org button - See Screen 1. below. A list will appear with all the organizations a user belongs to - See Screen 2 below. Click on the Organization or sub-organization to change the active organization. If the list is long, using the search feature can help narrow down the list.
